Did you hear the NeWS?
Do you want to get involved in the NeWS?
In fact, what’s NeWS?
When we talk NWS we mean this is what’s NeWS.
What A Waste University (WAWU), a project of the National Foundation to End Senior Hunger (NFESH), is a center for learning. We are a “university” dedicated to education about Nutrition, Waste & Sustainability. That’s what’s NeWS!
Enroll in WAWU and become NeWSworthy. We would love you to join us as you study some of the following subjects: nutrition, nutrient analytics, health implications of undernutrition, diseases associated with food insecurity and undernutrition, obesity, waste audits, food sourcing, composting, anaerobic digestion, square foot gardening, master gardening, food safety and sanitation, menu planning, food service operations, and policies and procedures on a state and federal level. And, these are just some of the courses offered at WAWU. Earn your NWS certificate and then really make NEWS and have your program, facility or institution enroll in the What A Waste on-site project.
Enroll in What A Waste University. Our admissions office is always open.
